Downtown Chickasha
The Place to Be
Downtown Chickasha is a great place to do business, located where U.S. Highways 62 and 81 meet, and just a mile and a half from Interstate 44. The EDC places special importance on the downtown district. Several buildings old and new are available for sale or lease along Chickasha Avenue and nearby streets.
Numerous events throughout the year take place downtown, including but not limited to: the Rotary Run 5k, YMCA’s Open Streets, the Rock Island Arts Festival, Rock Island Ride, and the Oklahoma Food Truck Championship. New events created in the past few years include the Christmas in July Cooldown Block Party and the Festival of Light‘s December at the Depot. Additionally, it is home to the award-winning Chickasha Leg Lamp.
